Our Kona LocationMango Sunset Bed & Breakfast Inn is just ten minutes (five miles) from Kona International Airport and Kona Town at 2,000 feet above the Kona coastline on the slopes of the Hualalai Volcano. Our guests love our location not only for the breathtaking view, but also for the cooler than Kona temperatures and less rain than to the south of us. We have the perfect climate year-round for a wonderful Hawaiian vacation...and for growing Kona Coffee here at Lyman Kona Coffee Farms where our Bed & Breakfast Inn is located. Six generations ago, Marsha's folks, the missionaries David and Sarah Lyman, arrived from Boston on the Big Island - in 1832. They founded the "Hilo Boarding School for Boys" and built the first wooden house. Our "Lyman Farms" is named to honor Marsha's family.
